Tango Mango is a free community calendar for Argentine tango dancers to find information about milongas, classes, and related events. So instead of rummaging through dozens of websites, email lists, and fliers, you can find everything in one place! Because this is a community site, anyone can post events, and all updates are published instantly!
I launched Tango Mango in January 2006 for the San Francisco Bay Area, and since then it has spread to San Diego and beyond thanks to brave volunteers. If you'd like to see Tango Mango in your city, all you need to do is start posting events and link to Tango Mango from your own website. Of course you'll need to actively tell people about Tango Mango to get critical mass, then event hosts will start to update their own listings, and it becomes very low maintenance from there. It can take several months to reach that point, so be persistent. And contact me if you'd like a link to your area on the home page.
